The Humanitarian Response in Somalia HD

On Wednesday, May 6, IPI hosted a discussion with Mr. Philippe Lazzarini, Deputy Representative of the Secretary-General and Humanitarian and Resident Coordinator for Somalia, and Ms. Edem Wosornu, Head of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Somalia, that focused on the different ways the humanitarian community in Somalia is reaching people in need and the challenges of delivering assistance in a complex and difficult environment.
