Install Stock Android On Xiaomi Mi 8 // It Truely Is Beautiful HD

Today I show you how to unlock your bootloader and flash a custom/stock rom on your xiaomi mi 8. This can be done if you simply just want a cleaner experience or if you just hate miui. Its really simple and to make it even easier I will be placing a step by step guide with download links here in the description. Install Instructions: ---------UNLOCKING THE BOOTLOADER---------- First you want to download the xiaomi unlock tool onto your computer. You can do so from the link below. You also want to make sure you have a xiaomi account bound to you xiaomi device. To bind a xiaomi account to your devicyou need to enter developer options and tick oem unlocking and bind your account. Once this is complete you want to enter fastboot mode on your phone, you can do this by turning it of and then holding volume down and power at the same time. Once you see the xiaomi logo let go of the power button but keep holding volume down. Connect your phone to your computer and sign into the xiaomi unlock tool. Let the tool recognise your phone, once it does click unlock and you are done with this part :) ------------------Installing the ROM--------------------- You will need a custom recovery in orer to be able to flash a custom rom onto your phone. I recommnet TWRP. The link for this and minimal ADB can be found below. Download both of them and install minimal adb and fastboot onto your pc. Open up the command prompt on your pc by holding the windows and r key until a run box appears. In it type cmd and press enter. In the command prompt you should be able to type adb and get a list of commands that you can use. Next type fastboot flash recovery press space and drag the twrp img into the command prompt, press enter. This should flas TWRP onto your phone. Next you want to power off your phone by holding the power button until it switches off. Turn it on aain this time holding the volume up button until you see the TWRP menu appear. It will ask you to allow system modifications. Allow them. Next click on advanced and then adb sideload.Swipe to start the sideload. Once again turn to your pc and in the command prompt type adb sideload press space and drag the decrypt zip into the command prompt. Press enter. Once the sidleoad is complete go back to the main twrp screen on your phone andd go to wipe. Wipe davlic, cache, system and data. Swipe to confirm. Next return to the sidelad screen on your phone and on your pc sideload your chosen custom rom and then gapps to the phone. If ou are not sure what to choose I have put havoc os below for convenience. After ou are done sideloading both of those reboot and enjoy your custom rom.
