Lazer Z1 Helmet Review Sale Price & Availability HD
The Lazer Z1 helmet is the ultimate synthesis of Lazer’s top performing helmets, making it Lazer’s lightest and best-ventilated helmet. Buy the Lazer Z1 helmet at http://glorycycles.com/lazer-z1-helmet/ The Lazer Z1 helmet boasts an updated Advanced Rollsys® retention system (ARS) that complements an adjustable Headbasket to create an exceptional fit. The adjustable Headbasket has five positions that move up and down, cradling the back of the head. Along with the Headbasket, the Advanced Rollsys® retention system employs a thumbwheel and a thin nylon band that symmetrically fits around the cyclist’s head. The thumbwheel works seamlessly, and easily adjusts with one hand while riding, so changes in terrain can be negotiated quickly and without worry. Lazer’s updated Advanced Rollsys® retention system is also lighter than the wire system used in the Helium and Genesis. Another of Lazer’s innovations is its vent tunnel-tested, 31-vent airflow system. Large front vents convey air through the Z1’s deep interior channels and distribute a cooling breeze over the top of the head, evaporating sweat to reduce irritation. These large front vents allow for airflow at lower speeds as well, so this helmet is great for cross and MTB use. Another perk of the extreme ventilation system is that the Z1’s vents are a great place to store sunglasses easily and securely while you’re not wearing them. Like every good helmet, the most important feature is how well it protects your head. The Lazer Z1 has a couple of safety features worth pointing out. First, what Lazer calls the T-Pro design is a system meant to protect the temples, a vulnerable spot that is also a common region of the head to take impact. The T-Pro is a section of added material around the temples that reduce the potential for head injury. Because of the added material over the temples, Lazer raised the area above the forehead a few centimeters higher so eyesight would not be obstructed. That explains the Z1’s unique look. Lazer also offers the RBS, or Rigid Brace System, which they describe as acting similar to the roll cage in a race car. Upon impact, the Rigid Brace System will keep cracked pieces of EPS foam together, offering some protection from multiple impacts. The Lazer Z1 helmet is also Aeroshell compatible, so if all that airflow is slowing you down, snap on the Aeroshell (which can be stored in a jersey pocket when not in use). The Aeroshell is thin enough to allow enough air to pass through the vents to keep you cool without creating a drag. Also, the Aeroshell works well as a rain cover. The Lazer Z1 and the Lazer Aeroshell is available now at Glory Cycles.
