Wii Blazing Angels Holding Guadalcanal Ace Part 2 of 3
Wii: Blazing Angels Walkthrough Holding Guadalcanal Ace part 2 of 3 This is how I earned an Ace Rating, and a Navy Cross. The fourth (4) wave of AATCs will be made up of two (2) large formations of carriers, command your wingmen to attack, command Frank to hunt the closer formation of AATCs, while you make one (1) pass at the closer formation and move right on to the second farther formation. Focus on destroying the AATCs on your first (1) pass, do not bother going after the carriers that you miss. After your first (1) pass turn 180 degrees around and focus on destroying the tanks, remember to use Frank as soon as he becomes available. After all the AATCs / tanks from the forth (4) wave are destroyed you will have completed your objective and have reached the fourth (4) checkpoint. TIP: After you have destroyed the last tank from the fourth (4) and last wave of AATCs from the first (1) objective, command your wingmen back into formation, you will be given a little time to shoot down five (5) secondary Japanese Zeros before you are given the next objective. During the next objective you will have to try and land your plane with only one (1) engine and this can be very VERY difficult. You can completely avoid this objective by doing the following: after the last tank is destroyed from the previous objective command your wingmen back into formation, shoot down only three (3) of the Japanese Zeros, locate the runway and land your plane; be sure to land at the beginning of the runway because you will need most of it to come to a complete stop, once on the runway you can turn in a zigzag, (Z) shape, to stop faster. Once you have landed command your wingmen to attack and command Frank to hunt down the last of the secondary Zeros, when the last secondary Zero is destroyed, you will be given your fifth (5) checkpoint. Come to a complete stop and wait on the runway until the next objective is given. OBJECTIVE: LAND AND SWITCH PLANES. After you are given your new objective you will be given one minute and thirty seconds (1:30) to land your plane, luckily you will already be on the runway and do not have to try and land your plane with only one (1) engine. When the time appears and starts to count down just press (1) on the Wiimote to change planes. Once you are in your new plane wait for a few seconds until the explosions next to the runway are over. Gain maximum speed to take off, this new plane is heavy, loaded with torpedoes, so it will take much of the runway to lift off. TIP: If you are unable to land your plane in time and get stuck having to land the plane with only one (1) engine, I have found it much easier fly and steer the plane if you switch the control mode from simulation to arcade; just press (+
