Hanging munchkin or ostrich

in the wizard of oz scene an ostrich or a munchkin hanging himself was caught on film. The truth is that a film crew guy walked across the set but the director did not notice! Look it up on Wikipedia! I found out that it is actually a crew member on Wikipedia.
