Holly Calvert: How to bomb it miles We’ve seen Holly show us how to hit a few different shot types over the recent weeks. This week she is back at The shack to show us how to bomb the driver miles.. The Pro asks Holly about her technique; If we are going to really try and put some extra distance on it what would you look to do? Holly; I’d move the ball slightly forward. For me I’d take the club back a little bit wider and a little bit lower, to feel like I’m extending my backswing a little bit more. The main thing is to try and not be too fast on my backswing, because you can sometimes throw yourself out of position. Holly then demonstrates the shot to the pro and they discuss the data from Trackman.
