Accenture and Smart Service Welt present: Industry 4.0 – Tapping the full potential of future manufacturing Connected and intelligent production, data driven cross industry business models, smart service growth. How can new digital services encourage the growth of German industry? What will the world of innovative services around the industrial Internet of Things look like? How can value emerge from added data and what conditions do we need in Germany and Europe to take this important step of industrial evolution. Frank Riemensperger, Senior Managing Director, Accenture DACH Frank Riemensperger is Managing Director of Accenture Germany and specializes in complex IT-enabled business transformations for large organizations. He is co-chair of the acatech project "Smart Service Welt” with the goal to make Germany the number one country in Europe in terms of digital growth. Prof. Dr. Henning Kagermann, President, acatech Since 2009 president of acatech (German Academy of Science and Engineering). As spokesperson of the Communication Promoters Group of the former Industry-Science Research Alliance, he leads the strategic initiative “Smart Service Welt”. The former CEO of SAP AG holds a post-doctoral thesis in physics. Klaus Helmrich, Member of the Board, Siemens AG Member of the Board of Siemens AG and responsible for Europe and Africa, Digital Factory Division, Process Industries and Drives Division. Electrical engineer, Helmrich started his career as system development engineer with Siemens in 1986. He filled management positions in several units before taking over CEO responsibilities for the Drive Technologies Division in 2008. Since 2011, Helmrich is Member of the Board of Siemens AG, has seated as CTO and HR director and is active in supervisory board and several German technical institutions. Dirk Hoke, CEO Business Unit Large Drives, Siemens AG CEO of the Large Drives Business Unit at Siemens AG. Hoke holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and started his career as R&D Engineer at Renault, Paris. In 1996 he joined Siemens Transportations Systems where he held various positions. In 2002 Hoke became general manager for the Transrapid Propulsion and Power Supply subdivision, in 2008 CEO of the Siemens Cluster Western & Central Africa, and mid-2009 CEO of the Siemens Cluster Africa. From CEO of the Siemens Customer Services Division (2011) he peaked 2014 to his present position. Harald Zapp, CEO & Founder, relayr Harald Zapp is CEO and founder of relayr. He looks back on nearly 30 years in the IT and telecommunications industry and held diverse positions in product, marketing and sales management within companies like azeti Networks AG, Attensity Europe GmbH Ungermann Bass, SynOptics and ASC telecom. Furthermore, he held senior positions at Cisco Germany and was Head of Service Provider Central Marketing at Cisco Systems Ltd. in London.
