The Pokemon SuMo Playthrough will go from Part 1 to Part Whatever because in this Let’s Play of Pokemon Sun and Moon, we will be exploring throughout all the islands of Alola, seeing all of the gen 7 Pokemon, Alolan Pokemon, and going through all of the trials in the Pokemon Moon game! Also, we will be venturing off with Professor Kukui, our rival Hau, the mysterious Lillie, as well as Hala, who starts us off with the Pokemon Sun and Moon starters Litten, Popplio and Rowlet! Z moves are new to the game, and are kind of like Mega Evolution back in Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire! There are some Z moves that only work on certain Pokemon, like Snorlax with Pulverizing Pancake, but how they work with certain types is you have to have the Z Crystal, such as the Normalium Z for example, and when the item is held by a Pokemon with a normal move, they will use that move and it will increase in power. Z moves can only be used ONCE in battle in Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon! In Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, gyms are no longer a thing, but instead of gyms, Pokemon Moon has Trial Captains! Each Trial Captain has a unique typing, one being Normal, one being Water, one being Grass, etc. When going against the Trial Captains, there is usually a task you have to solve, and Pokemon you have to defeat. Once you get through the trial in Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, you have to go through the Totem Pokemon, which is typically the most powerful Pokemon who can bring an ally Pokemon to help them out. The Totem Pokemon has a power-up to where their defense status gets increased to make the challenge a little more difficult. How well will we do against the Trial Captains? Watch and find out!
