Rare Tri-Rail Ballast Train & More At Oakland Park & Pompano 1-5-19 HD
In this railfanning video, we first see NB Tri-Rail P674 at 38th St in Oakland Park. Shortly after, we see an extremely rare Tri-Rail ballast train, running as P690-05. This train is led by two back-to-back GP49 locomotives, making a "full rainbow" with their paint schemes. Next, we see SB Tri-Rail P675, and shortly after, SB CSX O722 at the same spot. Before leaving, we see NB Tri-Rail P676. Later, at Commercial Blvd, we see a NB Brightline train, and then NB FEC 202-05 with over 10k ft of train. This train also meets a SB Brightline train. Next, we see SB Amtrak P091 back at 38th St in Oakland Park. Next, at Oakland Park Blvd, we see a SB Brightline train, running as BLF705, with only three cars instead of four. This is possibly due to a car strike on one of the coaches on Bright Blue. Finally, we see NB FEC 222-05 at Pompano.
