Roku & Pabu Free Flying 1_7 HD

02.07.2018
Hi All :) Just thought I’d finally get around to uploading some back log of videos I have sitting on computer. There’s a play date on here with Khyber Caw!! Such a spunk rat, for those who missed it peak hormone time is slowly approaching and I changed hairstyle so Korra is not happy with me again, however this time I’m not really enabling or paying attention to it. This has set her off even more, she’s fine every morning when I go out and greet her first but the moment Pabu or Roku touch or approach me she chucks a wobbly. Her condition? Only child syndrome haha reality? She has two siblings and isn’t a only child... ‍♂️ soo soz princess but you better accept this cuddles when you do ‍♂️ *please know parrots are in so many ways like children, jealousy and changing dynamics or “life” can’t always mean 100% happy smooth sailing every day. Always will be ups and downs, lets be realistic here, all parrot owners reading this will understand those days! - Pabu found some wild lorikeets in this massive tree, he was trying sooooooo hard to make friends with them but they just kept screaming at him I think it’s really important to point out that people know and understand where I stand with Trees I LOVE trees, big nature fan and most importantly I love my parrots and birds IN them as much as possible, for anyone who has seen myself and. birds out in person you will know I prefer them off me and out playing in them. I love that the growing majority of people have embraced free flight accepting that this is natural however what I have noticed within the free flight community is this unhealthy notion to trees... like it’s bad if your bird goes in them, it just makes me do a weird squinty face because I’m my head I’m thinking... ok so Flying is natural and now ok, but trees are not ok or conditional at best? As far as I’m aware they go hand in hand, a bird in a tree is just as natural as one in the air lol This isn’t me having a go at trainers who don’t allow it (some don’t for specific reasons ie Free Flying in dense city) however I just want people to know where I personally stand. I love trees, I want my birds in them, they are not my little toy boomerangs (not natural) no toy on the market can beat the stimulation of bouncing between/climbing and playing in a great tree! As long as they come when called to go home that’s all that matters, it’s worth mentioning it’s majority of people that have issues with birds in trees... not birds, so they shouldn’t be blamed lol that’s my 2cents, again it’s my personal stance. I’m all for encouraging natural development and enrichment - Please know that the “horny” and “sexually stimulated” references were done in tongue and cheek, for those that are aware from a prior upload I had ppl having a go at me assuming I was turning my birds on, now I’m not encouraging everyone to do this I made that clear. I’m simply saying that dependent on the behavioural redirection/management and desensiti
