Create the curtain with loops or button holes spaced 5inches apart and hang on your nails or decorative hooks. 2. If you are a painter and you would a like a more rustic beach theme, birch bark makes a creative canvas for a painting of a boat or the ocean. Be sure to use wood glue to add a short piece of solid wood across the back to support the screws for hanging wire. 3. If you can sew and you use COVERED storage baskets in your bathroom, choose material in a neutral sandy/oatmeal color or a light blue. If you have woven baskets, let the natural beige color of the baskets show. 4. Store your frequently used bathroom items (like cotton balls, bandages, hand soap) in vintage apothecary jars with tight fitting lids. Whether the containers are ecclectic or all match, try reserving one of them just for filling with decorative seashells or starfish.
