Jagwa - South American Griffin HD

You guys wanted longer videos, you guys wanted a more animated performance, you guys wanted to hear my voice.... WELL HERE YA GO HOPE YER HAPPY LOL. This is a full artistic liberty costume for a client where I was left to make up my own macaw-based-griffin, I opted for a blue-and-gold macaw as the yellow lends itself well to being part jaguar. The spots were simplified from an actual jaguar though as they wanted sewn spots not airbrushed, and this simplified spot design was chosen to stay within both the budget and the deadline. The head base is from Crystumes (same base as the green wing macaw I just posted) with the eye area modded and the jaw set to swing open via bumping the front of your chin vs sitting under your chin and being pushed open when you open your mouth. Being part cat the client opted for a full fur face vs having white skin. The client requested ears like the Harvest Moon Griffin (with white ear spots like a jaquar) and the same kind of arm wings but hand paws rather than bird hands. Being partly predatory I added hawk like stripes to the wings. The wings are a separate shirt with a front zipper and the bodysuit under the wings is a fabric netting, this allows for the body to be machine washed and the slightly delicate wings hand washed and kept perfectly flat when stored. The tail is my own special design, a core of woven heavy gauge wire and foam, a method I have done before but this tail in particular just came out with extra awesome movement.
