Unused Door from Wonder Boy in Monster World

This shows an unused door from Wonder Boy in Monster World. The room appears to be pointless, but by changing the vertical position of Wonder Boy using a ram hack, we can see there is an unused door hidden on the screen that takes you to a heart chest. This must have been the point of the room originally, but their was either a design change or bug that stopped this door from being used.
