He later attended California State University, Long Beach. He and Sean Fujiyoshi started posting YouTube videos of themselves lip-synching to songs in mid 2006 while attending Waiakea High School.[6] They quickly expanded beyond songs, with a variety of other comedic pieces. Occasional guest appearances are made by Tim Enos, Ryan Villaruel, Kyle Chun, and Tarynn Nago, collectively known as the "Yabo Crew On the fall of 2012 on November 16th, Traphik and a group of acts also known as the "A-Team" was on tour headed for Australia in conjuction with the Entertainment franchise and group "Epik Entertainment". Epik Entertainment had a deal with Traphik and many other acts such as Auburn, Brian Puspos, J.Reyez, Andrew Gracia and more. Due to the poor management of Epik Entertainment, the shows were complete failures, coining the event as "Epik Fail" or "#EpikFailFuckHeadJohn" as hashtagged by Brian Puspos on Twitter. Soon after the cancellation of events in cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, the CEO John Vu stated on the fan pages that the company had been liquidated and these artists were not going to be paid. Controversy broke out between the fans, artists, and John Vu with words of hate being traded along the path.
