World Voice Day Nigeria Mass Choir sings "Obong Da Ye Nyin" by Sam Uqwah

On 16 April 2013, World Voice Day was celebrated for the first time in Nigeria. The celebration concert was one among over 100 around the world, but the only one in Sub-Saharan Africa. Ten choirs performed individually, then they joined forces to form one, very BIG, choir! Conducted by Mr. David Aina, the choir is singing "Obong Da Ye Nyin" by Sam Uqwah, the theme song for the inaugural World Voice Day Nigeria. The text is in Ibibio and mean "God be with us and with our country."
