RF-V16 GPS Tracker review HD

A review and walkthrough the functions of the RF-V16 GPS tracker. A very good Tk102 alternative. Just a tad more expensive but lighter, smaller, a speaker for phone calls and making it ring and alot better battery life. Will send link to google maps when it can find GPS, and else to nearest cell tower location. Works everytime in clear blue sky. Did not try the gprs data upload function, i have no need for that. Never had a problem of not getting a text message back, and could always find GPS when in open sky outside. Unlike the tk102 wich has bad battery life and i have read it sometimes does not send back text messages and you have to retry. ----------EDIT 4 June 2014------------ (read the following after watching the video please) Another 3 nights passed and asked 3 times for co-ordinates. Battery life showed 70% now, so i charged it. All 3 times it was at my window, and it was clouded. All 3 times at different parts of the days i got google maps link. However at times when it was really cloudy and rainy, it didnt work a couple of times. I would like to add another significant advantage of this unit over the tk102. This RF-V16 has no activation required at starting up. At the tk102 you have to SMS it "begin123456" or something like that. Costs you an SMS to send, and an SMS to get a reply....Totally useless and has to be done EVERY time again. Not needed on the RF-v16. Also i just use a prepaid (pay 2 go) card that you can top-up. I did not use the data/gprs functions so i do not know how much data it eats or if it works properly. Remind yourself, you can only use microsim on this unit. The manual can be downloaded for setup. But basicly you just insert your sim wich is activated and without a pincode and power up. Then use the set masternumber command, followed by change launguage command and you are good to go. (activated sim without pincode) This will not set your masternumber however. Also, the unit has a different melody for startup, for shutting off, and for power down. 3 melodies in total.
