EXTERIOR This classic Mercedes-Benz is finished in metallic Mercedes Blue Green, (colour code 877) and looks magnificent with a brilliant shine and deep gloss finish. A sporting and unmistakable design with long clean lines this example is a real head turner. Structurally sound with the only evidence of repair being a small section on the lower nearside front wing where a slight colour mismatch can be seen upon close inspection only. The chrome bumpers and adjoining rubber trim are in beautiful factory fresh condition, aside from a small area of damage to the rubber on the rear offside corner. The black hood is clean and free from rips or tears, as are the side and rear hood windows. The original jack and warning triangle are still present. A perfect example of beautiful design and remarkable engineering. INTERIOR Large wide-opening doors give convenient access to a genuine four seat coupe with anatomically contoured front seats offering ultra comfort. The spacious interior is tastefully upholstered in Mercedes black leather and fabric arrangement (interior code 071) with matching colour scheme carpets. The seats are in excellent order with no discolouration or cracking to the leather. The fabric to the drivers seat base is starting to wear thin. Deep pile carpeting throughout has been protected by original fit rubber Mercedes-Benz over-mats. The wood veneer is beautifully preserved, but there is a tiny crack on the dash top. All the gauges, controls and electrics operate perfectly, as does the standard fit Blaupunkt Melbourne MR23 radio cassette. A later remote central locking system with alarm and immobiliser has been fitted for added security and convenience. A comfortable refined and ergonomically designed environment. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION The six cylinder in-line engine with fuel injection, twin-overhead camshafts and transistorised ignition produces 185bhp and as a regularly maintained unit will continue to offer extraordinary reliability.
