One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 - The Dark World | Normal Ending HD

This is the battle that leads to the normal ending of the game, that you get if Whitebeard dies in the previous battle. As such, I showed the cutscene of Whitebeard dying at the beginning so you understand the premise of the battle. In this stage, the Straw Hat pirates and the Marines take on Blackbeard’s forces. The Marines...are absolutely worthless. Akainu and Kizaru are on the field for like 5 seconds before they retreat and try to ambush Teach on their own. They get heard by Eneru, so it fails, and they get taken out by a scripted event almost immediately. If you were hoping to see anything cool from them as allies, you will be sorely disappointed. After that it’s up to the Straw Hats to handle Blackbeard’s forces, which are pretty massive. And I do mean the Straw Hats, the whole crew is present in this battle. Some of them show up later as reinforcements. Moira and Eneru also work together to try to put a stop to you here. Moira begins hiding in bases on the map, which are traps for him to seal you inside as Eneru tries to drop an instant death lightning ball on you. If you don’t take over the base in 3 minutes, you will lose. So that’s kind of scary, but 3 minutes is plenty of time to take over a single base. They do this a few times as Sanji and Zoro argue over which base Moira is actually in. After all that, the Straw Hat crew moves in on Blackbeard, Moira, and Eneru. You pretty much have to fight them all back to back, but it’s not too terribly difficult. There are actually two versions of Teach in this game, one with just his Darkness powers and the other with both his Darkness and Tremor powers. This version has both, but he’s actually not that hard to beat. Easier than the Darkness only version, actually. The ending cutscene shows the whole Straw Hat crew working together to take down Teach, which is pretty cool. I’ll save my final thoughts for the actual ending of the game. We still have two more stages to play, after all.
