A seasoned producer who’s in the past released on the likes of Bedrock and Balance, Bonnici infuses the track with its magic, the lush pads combining with the arp and wobbly lead sending the listener straight to outer space. That is until Norris’ crisps percussion draws the ear back to the ground, the groove turned up a notch. Offering the first remix of the pack is Dutch producer Jaap Ligthart, who switches up the original arrangement, repurposing the main synth line into a buildup of mythic proportions, its simple, huge stabs combining with the claps to create an eerie yearning. The artist, with previous works out on the likes of Songspire and Manual doesn’t play around, bringing the whole groove back in at once at the drop. Rounding out the EP is LA-based Ruben Karapetyan, who gives the track a classic progressive house feel, the strings and subtle transitions sure to uplift any dancefloor. Having in the past released in Mango Alley and Lowbit and his work remixed by the likes of Jerome Isma-Ae and Stan Kolev, Karapetyan proves he’s lost none of his touch.
