Thali Peeth Recipe HD

In the third episode, Mrs Archana Somavanshi teaches us how to make Corn Thalipeeth. This is a traditional Maharashtrian recipe made of multiple grains. Ingredients 1 cup sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane) , coarsely crushed 2 tbsp garlic (lehsun) paste 2 tsp ginger (adrak) paste 1 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder 1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania) 1 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta) 1 cup besan (bengal gram flour) Salt to taste 1 tbsp oil Oil for cooking Method Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, add enough water and knead into a soft dough. Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll them into thin flat thalipeeths. Heat a tava and cook each thalipeeth, using little oil, till golden brown from both the sides. Serve hot with ghee or coconut chutney.
