First of all, the first guard standing around and doing nothing before I shoot him is a particular bug I’ve encountered a few times and involves throwing bags around and doing stupid things. I’ll probably make a separate, non-PSA video on that some time, but I want to do some more testing to figure out how it works exactly. Next, things I don’t mention in this video. I don’t mention ECM’s because there’s so much to say about those that they’re pretty much a separate topic. I also don’t go into advanced topics like pager juggling, dancing around in front of guards to prevent them from going loud/making a call, and possibly a bunch of other stuff I’m forgetting. This one is just about the basics and everything else would’ve kinda screwed up the pacing. On patrols. Whenever you’ve murdered 4 guards and an additional patrol spawns, Bain will tell you about it 25 seconds after your 4th murder. Once you’ve killed the fourth guy, you have 45/120/120/80/45 seconds (depending on difficulty) for the additional patrol to start walking in. Be aware, these buggers are terribly nosy and will walk around most of the map and are very likely to uncover any badly hidden bullshit you’ve forgotten about (broken windows, cameras, bodies, loot bags). So, seriously, don’t leave any obvious traces behind. Apart from additional patrols that spawn upon murdering or incapacitating 4 guards, there is also a number of occasions where additional patrols spawn as scripted events. Notably on GO Bank, there’s a chance for a car with patrols to be send upon a certain telephone call.
