Bring your friends, your finest moves, and dance the night away! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Join cuBHANGRA for our third annual event- "Bhangra in the Heights"! A night featuring the award-winning teams: Rutgers Bhangra, RU Dhol Effect, Shaan Mutiyaaran Di Bhangra Club, Anakh-e-Gabroo, Virsa: Our Tradition, and your own *cuBHANGRA*! Then, dance the night away to a mix of Hip-Hop, Bhangra, and Bollywood music with hot beats by renowned DJ Sunny and DJ Raj from Dholboyz Entertainment! Free food for the first few to arrive! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* This year cuBHANGRA is also proud to be affiliated with Prayas. Prayas, based in Delhi & Bihar, provides services for street and slum children (kids found on railway platforms, children in conflict with the law, victims of child trafficking, rape, labor, abuse, & prostitution). The organization gives them shelter, education (vocational and standard), counseling, food, a 24-hour child protection line, and a method of representation in the justice system in order to obtain welfare for the children. Prayas is currently being sponsored by the U.S. government on a project to combat human trafficking in India.
