7 15 2009 24 Hour Observation Magnetosphere

16.07.2009
This is the total day 24 hour observation for July 15th 2009 The magnetopause position data seems to have been falsified at least partially in the animation that opens this video . You will note the overlay , The second image in this video is of the 3-day history of magnetopause standoff where you will notice at the start of July 15th 2009 we find a brief rebound and towards the end of the day we find the standoff close to but not in the geosynchronous orbit . The third piece of data in the movie is the pressure simulation from Nict that occurs at about the time the standoff plunged this perhaps maybe a coincidence but it is a noteworthy event none the less .The next piece of data in the movie is the CCMC BATSRUS simulation .The video ends with the full day for July 15th CCMC BATSRUS simulation . This has been a fairly significant event with the magnetopause position being pushed back to a geosynchronous orbit for a period of about 7 days before it snapped back all at once on July 15th only to be suppressed going into the 16th of July once more but at the time of the creation of this video it had not moved below a geosynchronous orbit There was also 2 Gamma Burst Confirmed in a 24 hour period SPI ACS trigger: 2009-07-14 T 23:55 -20.4088-05645-00007-0 GRB Detection Date: 09/07/15 17:25:39 It may only be a coincidence but on this day with the anomaly we had a large earthquake in New Zealand . It may also be a coincidence that this day the first in seven days where the magnetopause standoff finally moved above a geosynchronous orbit that the shuttle Endeavour finally was able to lift off . And last but no least it may be just a coincidence that through this extended event we have seen noctilucent clouds dip pretty far to the South at latitudes lower then 40 North.
