MARSTONS MILLS – As you will see in the following HN Video, at about 7:41PM this evening, Barnstable Police and COMM Firefighters rushed to a serious accident scene after a Jeep shattered a transformer bearing utility pole. The sole occupant and patient was described a 24-year-old male who was suffering from serious multi-system trauma, according to emergency radio transmissions... The following is the actual COMM FD press statement: Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills FD responded to a motor vehicle crash in front of 152 Wakeby Road in Marstons Mills. Barnstable Police Department and Ambulance 326 arrived on location to find one vehicle in the roadway with significant front end damage. Vehicle struck and caused severe damage to a utility pole. Car 321 arrived on location and assumed command of the scene. Ambulance 326 requested Boston MedFlight to land at the Barnstable Municipal Airport in Hyannis. Ambulance 325 and Engine 306 arrived on location to assist with extricating the patient from the vehicle. Ambulance 326 diverted to Cape Cod Hospital ER. Eversource was called to the scene.
