Sketching a wireframe with HP 2760p, Wacom and Fireworks CS5.5 HD
You can make your wireframes interactive by adding links in Fireworks. It is easy to reuse text content in digital sketching. These characteristics of digital sketching make it combine nicely with user testing and early customer feedback collection. When using the Fireworks / Illustrator [vector] pen tool, you can fine tune your sketch after drawing by adding pressure sensitivity to lines, scaling the whole image, or changing it in any other aspect. The main weakness of pen compared to [bitmap] brush and pencil tools is that you cannot use the the Wacom pen "mechanical" eraser as you can do with [bitmap] brush and pencil tools. When using Adobe Creative Suite 5.5, you can pinch zoom in and out like in any Windows 7 application. Windows 7 touch swipe does not work in Adobe CS 5.5, but you can use the CS hand tool and Wacom pen instead. To make pressure sensitivity work on 2760p, I use Fujitsu T901 drivers. HP 2760p, Lenovo X220t and Fujitsu T901 all have same Wacom display component so drivers are cross-compatible. http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/hp-elitebooks/44814-hp-2760p-pressure-sensitivity-problem.html Read more at: http://thedancingbear.posterous.com/ http://tanssivakarhu.posterous.com/
