Tur bijis milzīgs sens ozols, kura dobumā vai tam blakus atradās trīs galvenie dievu elki: Pērkons, Pīkols (Patols) un Potrimps. Šai svētnīcā dzīvoja priesteri - vaideloši un vaidelotes un arī pats virspriesteris Krīvu Krīvs, kas vadījis visas svarīgākās ceremonijas. Kā dziesmas vadmotīvu mēs izmantojām senu prūšu/lietuviešu tautas dziesmu (paldies Jonas Trinkūnas un Kūlgrinda) un daži panti ir prūšu valodā! Old German chronicles tells legend about the central pagan sacred place for all Baltic people, which was situated in Prussia at Romuve or Rickoyot. There stood a huge oak and besides that (or in his trunk) were seen idols of three main gods: Perkuns, Peckols (or Patollo) and Potrimpus. In this sanctuary also lived priests and priestesses (vaidelots) and the high priest Krive Krivaito himself. All most important pagan ceremonies and sacrifices were held there. More about it you will find in CD booklet. In this song you can hear little bit of Prussian language as we used some Prussian/Lithuanian old folk song (thanks to Jonas Trinkūnas and Kūlgrinda) as main theme.
