Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage - Kenshiro Final Chapter | Farewell, Brother HD
This leads to the final battle against Raoh and the finale of the game. Or...the finale of Ken’s story at least. We still have a LOOOOOT more game after this. Don’t forget that this is a Warriors game when all said and done. Let me just cut to the best part about this stage. Here, we get to ride Kokuoh. Raoh’s horse is the greatest horse in the Warriors franchise and puts Red Hare to shame. This thing is faster than a motorcycle, doesn’t stop for anything, can crush obstacles and trample over explosions, and can OHKO any peon it touches. In this game in particular, that is a godsend. It feels amazing to just run these guys over and it’s easily the best way to grind as well. The only weakness this horse has is that the rider can get knocked off, and that’s more the rider’s fault than anything. Oh and cliffs. It, uh, it can’t go up cliffs. So if you have to climb at any point, Kokuoh isn’t coming with you. That is, unless you play as Raoh, and unlock his musou where he can summon Kokuoh to him at will. Then you have no limitations! You thought Raoh would be the best character because he’s the Lu Bu of the game? Nope! It’s because he can summon the most powerful creature in the Fist of the North Star universe on command! Alright, that’s enough gushing over Kokuoh. If you don’t drop it into a hole like a dumbass, you can ride it all the way to the prologue area and ride through. You will probably get flattened by falling pillars a few times, but eh. It’s worth it to instant kill every mood in the war path. Once we reach Raoh himself, we take down his first 1/3 of HP like normal. After that, it’s revealed he also learned Musou Teisen and can become invincible. The only way you can counteract this is by you yourself activating Musou Teisen so you can damage him, or you just run away form him and keep distance until it wears off. As the fight escalates, Raoh gets more access to his musous and other powerful attacks. The grind also starts to give way, which can sometimes throw off your combos, but is pretty dramatic. Beating Raoh will finish the biggest part of the game for us. All the other Legend Modes aren’t half this long an Dream Mode playthrough only go up to 5 stages max, so this should progress a bit faster from here on out. Also, I really dig Raoh being a bro to Kenshiro at the end and pushing him toward Yuria. Raoh is actually not all that bad of a guy when you get down to it. We have a whole other side of him that isn’t shown unless you play as either him or Toki, so we’ve still got some new things to show in this mode. ...It’s mostly just that, though. Rei and Mamiya’s storylines are pretty much just half of Kenshiro’s, altered slightly. Gonna go ahead and knock those two out of the way next.
