!!!Heat Conduction Trick!!! (Heat conduction experiment) SCIENCE EXPERIMENT Crazy Chris show us a really awsome heat conduction trick that you can do with a water balloon! Objective: to understand conduction of heat Materials Needed: ~ Balloon ~ Water ~ Match ~ younger kids need an adult Step 1) blow up a balloon and tie it off, place a match under the balloon and the balloon explodes. Step 2) fill the balloon with some water and tie off the balloon. Step 3) Strike a match and place the balloon under the water balloon. HOW DOES IT WORK: The princpal that is going on here is known as conduction of heat energy. Conduction happens when two objects come in contact with each other and one object directly transfer its heat energy into the other object. The match sends its heat into the balloon of air and burns up the rubber causeing the balloon to explode. The balloon full of water doesnt burn up because the matches heat energy is transfered into the water. We know this is true because of we burn a different section of the water balloon with out water touching it it bursts. !!!Heat Conduction Trick!!!
