Xubuntu 18.04 Bionic Beaver Linux First Impression :( HD

Xubuntu 18.04 Linux install on hardware, a Dell Latitude D631 laptop. Whilst it seems quite fast and stable considering the spec, there were a few problems. Broadcom wireless card was not installed properly. Network shares not displayed in Thunar File Manager, problem with Samba GUI following the depreciation of GKSU and problem with Simple Screen Recorder.
