Boeing 747-8F Freighter (SSG) – Albuquerque, NM (KABQ) + Ground Handling Deluxe Demo – X-Plane 11.05 HD

Triple feature covering the amazing 747-8F which is part of the Supercritical Simulations Group (SSG) ‘748’ Passenger/Freighter value package, the new scenery package for Albuquerque Int. and the primary focus, the JAR Design Ground Handling Deluxe Plugin. Includes the loading and balancing using the GHD add-on to a weight of just under 510,000 lbs then a max power takeoff, short go around and landing while still heavy using reverse thrust and conventional speed brakes . The SSG 747-8F is not fully on a study level but it is an incredibly well made model and beautiful inside and out with tons of accurate custom features. For the price of approx $40 to $55 (depending of sale price special) it can’t be beat for value since you are getting two full functioning models that are based on what is easily the most complex machine ever put to the skies in commercial aviation. The freighter is what I cover in this video for obvious reasons as it is more able to show off the Ground Handling Deluxe programs features but I am working on a video separately featuring a full length trip in the passenger variant from Miami Int. to Orlando Int. which should be published soon as there are 5 other videos ahead of it in the cue right now. Ground Handling Deluxe is a suite of service apparatus for commercial airliners/cargo planes and allows you to build a custom set of ground service to match your needs and even has the ability to dress them in custom livery to match your fleet livery. The app will allow you to call and dismiss all ground vehicles either in a large convoy/group or one by one as needed. It also has emergency service vehicles which can be called in the event of an emergency landing etc. and although not used in this demo I have tried it and they respond promptly to your location no matter where on the airport grounds you end up. My favorite feature though is the cargo loading and servicing such a fuel truck, chock & tug, de-ice & the cargo lifts + feed belts. The majority of the video is dedicated the ground service so if you wanna see more of the 747-8i itself then I will be making those videos soon as well. Currently everything will be slowing down some while I gear up to start the narrated videos on the new channel but once that is done then both channels will speed back up once synchronization and balancing the workload is done.
