Mount Irong or known as Gunung Pahlawan(1190m) The expedition took 2days and 1night. It was tiring expedition because it was not an easy trail for us to conquer the mountain. Mount Irong really took us out from our comfort zone and push us to the limit. Much efforts were vital to put this mountain below our feet. To get to the starting point we must use 4wd local services for more than 2hours. The road were totally hundred percent a ‘trek balak’ road and we have to crossed rivers along the journey in order to reach the drop point. The mountain served us pleasing welcoming with a 98percent of ascending and climbing skills are required. With the slippery trail, ‘padu AF’, mossy and ‘gaung’ in certain part where the part of ‘trek ganas’ were called as we have to use rope to get through a rocky ‘permatang’. Within an overload rucksack that require to detach with the owner as we have to get through a very slippery and narrow rocky trail were not a simple mode for this mountain. A 6hour journey have covered us with a totally fun, excitement, pewai, barai for a simple mountain to looked at(maybe) but it was a great experience to be kept in heart. Therefore, please choose your step wisely as you climb it to the top. The peak aren’t meant to be unlock with an arrogant and selfishness but take it as a goals to conquer yourself.
