One Dish Roni-Mac Chili (from vintage cookbook)

I actually added 2 c. water because it just felt like it needed it) 1 lb. hamburger ½ c onion, chopped 28 oz. can tomatoes, undrained 15 oz. can kidney beans, undrained 1 c water (sorry, forgot to mention this in the recipe, but added 2 c. later) 6 oz. can tomato paste 1.5 c macaroni or Roni-Mac 1 T chili powder 1 t salt ½ t dried oregano In large pan, brown hamburger with onion, drain and rinse with hot water. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring frequently. Cover and cook over low heat stirring occasionally for 25-30 mins, or until macaroni is tender. This was actually quite good.. I surprised myself. Thanks for suggesting it. I made cornbread to go with this meal.
