Iron Chef PS2 gameplay [ Phoenix Games ] Playstation 2 PAL

This video is a playthrough of the uncommon ps2 game called Iron Chef. Most people would know this title from the Nintendo Ds or Wii consoles. Its a classic "cement factory game & watch" type game updated to appeal to the newer generation of gamers. Adding new tasks, and enemies with a puzzle aspect thrown in for good measure. Your aim is to knock the food down into the baskets while dodging the enemies trying to stop you. Does it hold up? ...well, as a Wii game i could see this having a better effect on its playability, but as a PS2 game i dont really see much that will keep people entertained for too long! Sure the game is addictive, but its one of those that you most likely wont return to once its completed, if you ever get that far! Instead i see this as a "pass the time" kind of game, and therefore doesnt really warrant being on a Playstation 2 console. Phoenix are well known for puzzle games, but im yet to see something in this game that makes it deserve its own disc! Youl definately get some hours of enjoyment from it, but its not anything we havent seen on lesser powerful system over and over again with the same effect! Is Iron Chef worth getting? ....well if your a hardcore puzzle fan then yes, but youve already played these games a million times over, im not sure theres anythin new for you here? but its still a fun game overall...if your not a hardcore puzzle fan, then your gonna feel cheated out of a game worthy of being on the PS2.
