Phoenix Jones: Blind Robbery

Purple Reign led patrol on Tuesday March 13, 2011. She was with Phoenix Jones, Karma, Midnight Jack, Ryan McNamee and guest patroller Sky Man Purple Reign and crew were walking south down second avenue when they saw a group of guys surrounding another man and telling him to put his hands up. As we approached we discovered the man being surrounded was blind and the group of guys were far from police officers they were pretending to be. As we talked with the victim, a woman approached us in tears. She told us stories about how she has been robbed outside her apartment by a group of guys, similar, if not the same, to the ones we just witnessed. Police found the group a few blocks away but after talking to them, let them go. If you have any information about these robberies please contact the Seattle Police Department.
