▶︎New compilations and donate on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/policecompilation ▶︎Helicopter police chase in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, January 31, 2022 - On 01/31/22, officers were alerted to a stolen vehicle traveling southbound near the location of 479 Joseph E Boone Blvd. Officers in the area were able to observe and identify the suspect vehicle as a black in color 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The vehicle was confirmed stolen from the location of 1071 Howell Mill St on 01/29/22. APD mobile units requested the Phoenix Air unit for assistance. With a swift response, Phoenix was able to locate the vehicle traveling westbound on Ralph David Abernathy Blvd. Mobile units attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle, but it took off at a high rate of speed causing officers to temporarily lose sight of it on University Ave. Phoenix continued to track the stolen vehicle from the air while providing location updates to APD mobile ground units. The stolen vehicle was observed parking into an apartment complex at 806 Murphy Ave. Phoenix then observed the suspect as he exited the vehicle and attempt to flee on foot. APD mobile units located the suspect from the description provided by Phoenix and pursued after him on foot.
