How to connect an Xbox 360 controller to a PC HD

got to this site first http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download/download.aspx?category=Gaming select controller, xbox 360 controller for windows, select your windows, and then the setup language. Then go here http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Xpadder/1148671810/1 and download xpadder if it doesnt work just google it. then installthe thing from microsoft.com and this will allow your computer to recognise the controller and the lights should light up. then turn on xpadder and follow the instructions in the video.
