Encapsulated Particles by Membrane Emulsification
Membrane emulsification is a technique for creating uniform drops of one liquid in another. The drops can then be solidified to form particles. It is very easy to produce encapsulated particles for controlled release applications using this technology. The Micropore membrane is unusual: it is a true surface membrane, and this is particularly useful for water-oil-water emulsions, which are often the basis for encapsulated and controlled release particles.
