Dell studio xps 8100 CPU fan
10 minutes after booting up the cpu fan in my computer goes wonky- it speeds up to 3000 rpm then cuts off fairly rapidly, and continues to do this until the computer is restarted. Temperatures are fine (~50C) and the computer runs fine. In the initial 10 minutes everything is fine and the fan is moving at around 800 rpm. Fan is dust free.
