Welcome everyone to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance! Follow me on Twitter for regular updates on my channel, news on the occasional Prize Giveaway, and just the random ramblings of yours truly: https://twitter.com/TrueIronGamer This walkthrough will consist of a COMPLETE playthrough of the game from beginning to end, will include all cutscenes, including the intro and the ending, as well as a guide on how to beat all bosses and enemies, with gameplay and live commentary provided by TheTrueIronGamer. I will also do my best to reveal the locations of all database terminals to unlock VR missions, unlock all of the unique weapons by defeating the Winds of Destruction cyborgs of the Desperado PMC, and show off as much of the excellent combat system as I can. For those of you who are die hard Metal Gear fans like myself and have concerns about this game, I can honestly say there is no need for concern. Rising is completely different to the MGS series, and is significantly more action oriented, though you can try the stealth approach if you like. The combat is fluid, the stealth is always good fun despite not being necessary, and the story line is surprisingly engaging, with a cast of likeable characters. As spin offs go, Rising hit the mark. Repeatedly. With a sword. And a spinning high heeled back kick. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is an action video game developed by Platinum Games and produced by Kojima Productions, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. It is the ninth game in the Metal Gear series, with a plot set four years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The story focuses on the cyborg ninja, Raiden, in a fight against a private military company known as Desperado Enterprises. Gameplay consists of fast-paced, brilliantly addictive combat that sees Raiden slice and dice his way through waves of cyborgs, UGs, GEKKO, helicopters, Metal Gears (including Ray) and much, much more. The game also features "Free Blade", which enables players to slow down time and precisely aim their sword to cut down their enemies however they wish. Free Blade is also used for Raiden to perfom Zandatsu, the ancient art of slicing someone in half and ripping out their spine to feast on their electrolytes. Raiden will also occasionally encounters civillians that can be rescued by taking down their captors, and there is also "Ripper Mode", in which Raiden becomes his even more powerful alter ego, much like Devil Trigger in Devil May Cry. There is also at least one section that sees Raiden hack into a Tripod and control it remotely to access an otherwise restricted area. What you can find in Part 3 of this series: I hope you enjoy this one, folks! Sit back, relax, throw your feet up and enjoy! And thanks in advance for all the support with your Likes and Comments!
