Demonophobia TAS (unfinished) HD
I gave up on this not because I lost interest, but because Hourglass sucks too much for me to put up with finishing it even though I want to. About Stamina - it changes values linearly. Walking is 0, running is -1, standing is 1, crouching and crawling are 3. it is also filled completely when you use a healing item or after a room transition About Speed - there is no system for acceleration whatsoever. you get to max speed instantly when you hold forward, and drop to 0 when you release. standing is 0, walking is 1, running is 3 About Health and Death - your HP regenerates both automatically over time (albeit rather slowly) and by using healing items. dieing causes you to lose most progress before your most recent checkpoint, but there are some holes in this system which I dont get far enough to show off in this video About Luck - RNG can only be affected by going through doors. as such, it is rarely ever worth it to manipulate RNG except to change where and when Lucifer spawns, a trick i didnt get far enough to show off Dash Charging - as mentioned earlier, crawling is the same stamina regen as crouching. therefore, the fastest method of movement is to dash, crawl when stamina hits 0, and get back up into a run. no complex movement nonsense could be found after days of experimentation, sorre Enter Glitch - pressing enter or tab (or possibly other buttons idk) causes Sakuri to pause whatever animation shes doing for a frame and briefly turn invisible. it has strange effects at times and i use it in both the leviathan and satan fights to act after they attack sooner Action Buffer - you can hold buttons in advance for however you want. you can hold Z to skip through cutscenes as fast as possible, etc. Cutscene Skips - you can skip the cutscenes at the starts of chapters (such as right at the start of chapter 3 shown in this video) by simply resetting and loading the chapter from the level select, as the time saved is far more worth it than keeping healing items. this is not used because Hourglass currently does not support resets, which is one of the reasons i dont want to continue this right now Trap Dodge - traps caused by walking in a certain space only function in one direction. if you have to turn around, you can run straight through them Satan Glitch - getting a nice friendly hug right after the timer runs out causes him to grab you and then teleport, leaving you unharmed. as satan always does an extra attack at the end, this is the only way to be right near the door when it opens Lucifer Abuse - at chapter 3, theres a random chance of Lucifer to spawn in any given room, whereafter he chases you for a few rooms if he spots you. enemies dont spawn in rooms hes in, so the idea would have been to get him to escort me through the level if i had gotten to that point
