Schindler Elevators for Airtrain in Lobby Area [JFK Terminal 4] [Epic Fail Moment]

These are the Elevators in the front of Term. 4, which lead up to the tremendous upper mall area and the equally-tremendous Terminal Lobby. These were nice, but it looks like they were crammed into a small space - take note of the 2-speed doors. Rather undersized for an airport terminal. As I left the elevator at the end, this maintenance guy ran up to other one, attempting to stop the doors with a flashlight. He shoved it in at the very second the sensors turned off (because the doors were almost closed). For about 15 seconds it was stuck there; I watched as he tried to pull it out. Epic Fail. Eventually it re-opened and went into Nudge. Brand: Schindler Installed: 2001 Machine: In Ground Hydraulic Floors Served: *1, 3, 4 Fixtures: HT with GAL lanterns. (they are not special-order HT lanterns). Fear/DT Index: Outside of the smallish cab, the indicators are messed up on 1 and it jolts.
