Natural Gas Leaking at Church Construction

Some tense moments this morning for construction workers on a new church on Hildegarde Drive. Fire station right next door to the new construction where a backhoe struck a natural gas line around 10:50 A.M. Firefighters were standing by waiting for Enbridge gas employees to arrive to stop the leak. A strong smell of gas in the air for at least 2 blocks. Enbridge arrived on scene and had the leak stopped at 11:05 A.M.
