The hâB: Gorgeous $25K DIY Shipping Container Tiny Home. Hello and Welcome to the premier homes channel on shipping container living. In this video, we bring to you a Gorgeous and Beautiful DIY Shipping Container Tiny Home, built from a forty-foot shipping container. This Gorgeous and Beautiful Shipping Container Tiny Home Named “The hâB,” belongs to Tomas Ryan which he built as a DIY project. The hâB is built from a single a recycled high-cube a 40-foot shipping container. The main elements on the hâB design worth noting are the two large sliding glass doors in the middle of the container and four small narrow windows in the bedroom. The hâB interior of the cabin is frugally furnished with clean, modern lines and finishes. The hâB ceilings throughout the house are finished in white painted ceiling board. The hâB interior walls are lined with natural timber veneer boards throughout. The flooring is finished with bamboo vinyl flooring which gives the home a sleek modern look. There is a 40″ wide standalone module that includes a kitchenette with under counter refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, and sink. In the middle of the module are the wet core of the cabin comprising of a bathroom with a shower, macerating toilet, vanity, and closets accessible from two sides. Past the kitchenette/bathroom module on end is a spacious bedroom large enough for a queen size bed with adequate room to walk around on both sides. The grooves of the raw shipping container roofs are visible throughout to maintain an industrial style exterior for a low maintenance finish. The container is painted dark on the outside.
