How to build a Vocal Booth HD

DIY Vocal Booth for the cost of SE Electronics SERF Reflexion Filter 3.5= 299.99 + tax (guitarcenter) DIY Vocal Booth for less than Porta-Booth-Pro 349.00 +tax(amazon) All material for booth purchased at Home Depot (except Foam=ebay/carpet pad= craigslist) ** added due to # of request My booth is 7 ft5 inches tall... As far as the back wall (and front) it will start as the same size as the outside walls, However you will add the size of the frame inside of the right and left outside walls then subact this # from the width of the back and front walss so that when the booth is assembled the front and back wall will be enclosed by the 2side walls example: my side walls =4ft wide ,frame 3inches....add the the 2 frame sizes of 3 inches=6inches cut the 4 ft wide front and back wall in width by 6inches...so the back n front walls are 3 ft 6 inches wide then inclosed by the side walls ********* this is only important because i used 1 sheet of 4x 8 plywood cut in half for the floor(4x4) and the ceiling (4x4) and this way the 4x4 will still cover the entire booth ************** For the door i cut out the space and framed the door before i put the booth together which made it easier to hang once I assembled the booth Same with the window.... if you have more space and materials you can make it whatever size you like 19) 2in x3in x8ft premium (wood)=1.93 each **if building individual walls.. ** only need 11 if not planning to travel with it 5) 7/16 4x8 osb (plywood) =11.37each 7) R-matte 3/4 Rmax (soundboard insulation)=12.98 each 1) interior door =29.99 each 1) Door Knob set =8.00 each (aprx) 1) (2)pack touch light 8.00 1) carpet pad free on craigslist 1) 2ft x 3ft glass aprx 6.00 total(with individual walls)= 235.38 (not including tax) total(with out individual walls= 219.94 (not including tax) ***acoustic foam depends where you find it I got mine on ebay : 10) 2x4ft sheets=17$ bid +46$ shipping 40) 1x1ft sheets=15$ bid +17$ shipping total =95$ you can attach this how you see fit...if using spray adhesive get the "90" strength but some of the ebay orders come w/ free adhesive ***outside indoor/out carpet not included in cost because its optional you can cover your booth w/ fabric, paint ,etc that part is up to you however its aprx 20$ for 8ft x 6ft remnant or .52cnt per sq ft I watched a handful of youtube videos and came up with my own design and list of materials nothing is set in stone you can substitute any items on the list for what ever you want..
