Mercedes Window Shattered In Driveway (W126 Door Glass) HD

My car window was shattered after the neighbor paid a contractor to mow grass. The cops said it was most likely a rock from a lawnmower. Mercedes Benz quoted me $600 for this piece of glass (OEM Quality). Insurance uses Safe Lite who quoted me $146 for aftermarket glass and $149 installed. How can this cheap aftermarket glass be the same quality (L-K-Q) at the OEM uses when the car was manufactured in Germany? OK, who is going to detail the interior to get all the glass shards out of the leather seats, carpet and other hidden areas.
