Cthulhu Door Knocker

Here is a video of my finished Cthulhu Door Knocker. It is mounted on my interior studio door. It was originally sculpted with Super Sculpey, a polymer clay that is baked in an oven at 250° F. for 15 minutes to harden. I then made a silicone mold from the original and then cast in cold cast bronze. I poured the bronze infused liquid resin around a steel door knocker. Cold cast bronze is a resin with bronze powder stirred into the liquid state and allowed to harden. Steel wool is used to buff up the bronze finish. The piece is 9"x9"x1.5" and the cold cast bronze version will sell for $150.00. I will also have a resin painted version which will sell for $130.00.
