We’re still in the midst of this cooler than normal spring, and are still seeing surface water temps at 36ºF. Undeterred at the weather, Dale puts us on the spots, and we get hooked up with some incredibly beautiful Door County walleyes. Using either a hair jig with a very specific retrieve, or the old reliable Kalin’s Jerk Minnow with a more subtle popping action is what is working best during our trip.
