Jeep Wrangler JK door leak - SOLVED - 2-29-2016 HD

After two rain storms I havent had anymore water come in. My problem seems to have been with the door seals ability to shed the water it channels from the front of the door jam area. Part of the problem was dirt build up on the seal, cleaning made a difference but did not solve the issue. After understanding the full function of the seal I determined the seal does more than just seal. It directs water flow from the door jam out from the bottom of the door through small holes. I elongated the hole closest to the place the water was coming in, taking care not to make the hole taller, but only longer with the thought that this would allow more water to leave the seal faster and therefor would not cause a back up.
