rc Defender 90 highly detailed shell with full interior & opening doors on cheap crawler chassis
This rare 1/10 shell is fitted to New Bright´s cheaply made but well-designed crawler chassis. Each diff housing actually houses a small motor which drives each halfshaft equally. Radio range from the combined receiver/speed controller is greatly improved by use of a decent transmitter. The car (with beautiful Disco shell and hopeless PP3 9V transmitter) costs €60 here in mainland Europe. This one is very well worn and has stood up to all sorts of mistreatment. I bought a 1/6 New Bright Disco after buying this, but the chassis design is terrible. They should have replicated this in 1/6 scale! The shell is from a static toy Land Rover; the screen folds down, all light lenses are translucent, the doors open and the rollcage works! It´s very robust, being made in thick polycarbonate, & deserves a more scale-like chassis.
