Making White Doors Look Like Real Wood HD

Here I show the process of how I make these white hollow core doors look like real wood using gel stain and a wood grain tool made by ZAR. It takes some practice but turns out great. The texture layer needs to dry for a long time...like a day or two before starting to darken it; otherwise you will just rub away the texture. It is more like smearing the gel stain around evenly, touching it minimally to avoid thinning it too much and picking up the previous layer. Let each layer dry for at least 12 hours...
